About Larry Brilliant

Larry Brilliant has been at the center of historic moments, engaging with global icons like Neem Karoli Baba, Martin Luther King Jr., Steve Jobs, Mikhail Gorbachev, Barack Obama, and the Dalai Lama. His journey spans medicine, spirituality, and social change—helping eradicate smallpox in India, curing blindness in over 4 million people, introducing the teachings of the Maharajji to the Woodstock Generation, and shaping Google’s philanthropic efforts.

”How to Do Good When Times Are Bad”

When budgets for science—especially medical and public health research—are shrinking, how can individuals still drive meaningful impact? This keynote explores practical strategies for supporting innovation, advocating for ethical advancements, and leveraging technology to foster positive change, even in challenging times.
